Chamber of the Year is the most prestigious and competitive award in the chamber industry. Presented by annually by ACCE since 2007, those exceptional chambers who earn the award have demonstrated organizational strength and made an impact on key community priorities. The award recognizes excellence in operations, member services and community leadership.

These awards recognize excellence in all areas of chamber of commerce marketing and communications. This program is designed to honor, reward and celebrate the achievements of outstanding communications programs, campaigns and projects, and to comprehensively encompass all areas of “communications excellence.”

Lifetime Sales Achievement Awards recognize chamber membership sales professionals for outstanding career sales. Awards are based on the total number or total dollar amount of chamber membership sales made over the course of the recipient’s career. The program for sales professionals is presented in memory of Dana Ketterling, ACCE’s resource development officer, a gifted membership professional and champion of chambers of commerce and the communities they serve.

The 2026 Certified Chamber Executives (CCE)  receive their designations during Award Night at the convention.  Those who complete the process showcase mastery of the chamber Body of Knowledge: management; planning and development; membership, communications, and revenue; and operations. CCEs exemplify commitment to the chamber of commerce profession, dedication to managerial and leadership excellence, and leadership in state, regional and national chamber professional associations.
